I wanted to take a moment to update you all on our construction project. As you may have noticed, construction officially began today. We are ahead of schedule, which is a great thing!
Here is a summary of the construction timeline and project guidelines:
~All of the lawn area (except in the front of the building) is off limits. The foundation of the new gym is getting dug out this week. Concrete pouring will probably occur late next week.
~The student parking lot is off limits.
~Any area that is fenced off must not be accessed. The orange fence is a construction barrier and should not be trespassed.
~The current gym and surrounding areas are off limits. Demolition may occur in early May; stay tuned. There will be no more assemblies and/or activities permitted in the gym and surrounding area for the remainder of the year.
~Matt Borst is working with area organizations to find practice and game sites for spring athletic teams affected by the construction.
~For your personal safety, please resist any desire to get near the machinery. Those machines are powerful machines and should only be used by professionals.
~It is crucial for everyone to follow the instructions posted throughout the school and ask questions if concerns regarding expectations arise.
I truly apologize for any inconvenience this project may bring to you. I understand that it can be frustrating to deal with so many changes at once. I greatly appreciate your support as we enter the construction season. I cannot wait until August arrives and we able to enjoy our beautiful new facilities.
The Free and Reduced Lunch application link has been updated below. Please call 1-855-773-7638 for any information related to Free and Reduced Lunch.
(or Click Admissions: Forms to find the updated link.)
We are looking for 100% participation in completing the form, even if you have not qualified in the past.
This form must be completed each year, and separate applications are needed for students at different schools. The sooner this is completed, the better, so students can start right away with the free or reduced cost for qualifying families. Families can complete the “No Intent To Apply” section after answering a few brief questions on the site.
